Puerto Rican Pride Poem

Roses Are red,
Puerto Ricans Are Brown,
That Is My Race,
So Dont Let It Down,
My Puerto Rican Pride,
I Will Not Hide,
My Puerto Rican Race,
I Will Not Disgrace,
My Puerto Rican Blood,
Flows Hot And True,
My Puerto Rican Peeps,
I Will Stand By You,
True, Think And Thin,
Till The Day I Die,
Our Puerto Rican Flag,
Will Always Stand High,
I Yell This Poem,
louder Than All The Rest,
Cuz Everyone knows,
Puerto Ricans Are The Best,
Puerto Rican Pride Is My Mind,
Puerto Rican Blood Is My Kind,
So Step Aside And Let Me Through,
Cuz its All About The Puerto Rican Crew!

Love Poem

My Love Is The Sun,
That Lights Our Way,
With It's Brilliant Rays
That Light Your Darkest Days.

My Love Is The Moon,
In The Still Of The Night,
While The Stars Are Shinning,
So Beautiful, And So Bright.

As They Flash And Simmer,
With The Twinkle In Your Eye,
When The Daylight Comes,
My Love Is Your Bluest Sky.

My Love Is The Rain Drops,
Poring Down Through The Mist,
When We're Together,
It's Wonderful Bliss.

I'm That Knight In Shining Armor,
And My Love Is My Sword,
I Will Stand And Protect You,
From Any Evil Horde .

My Love Is The Leaves,
That Blow In The Wind,
As I Tell You I Love You,
Time And Time Again.

Brown Sugar

Brown sugar, You Are So Good
And You Are Very Plentiful In My Neighborhood

Brown Sugar, You Are So Fine
As I Love To Slide Up In You From Behind

Brown Sugar, I Love The Way You Sound
Everytine You Are Going Downtown

Brown Sugar, You Feel Like Sand
And I Love To Feel You In My Hands

Brown Sugar, You Are So Sweet
And You Are So Damn Good To Eat

Brown Suger, I Love You So Much
Come Find Me Later And Ill Give You Some Lunch

She's Naughty

She Was A Sexual Freak
With A Bedroom Like Eye
She Was Naughty By Nature
So Hot, And So Fly.

She Had All The Right Moves
That Would Dazzle Your Mind
With All The Right Curves
So Slender And So Fine.

She Wore A Hot Sexy Skirt
With A Slit Down The Side
And You Can See Through Her Blouse
Leaving Little To Hide.

She'll Put Heat In Your Passion
And Bring Hearts To A Melt
Wearing Nylons And Heels
And A Black Garter Belt.

She's A Burning Desire
All Wrapped In One Girl
So Much Thrill With Excitement
She Is One In This World.

Such A Sexual Pleasure
That Knows How To Make Love
And A Wet Ball Of Fire
Most Men Have Dreamed Of

Like Dessert On A Table
She's All Mines Tonight
And I'll Soak In Her Love
Till The Peak Of Sunlight

The New Black Mans Burden

Take Up The Black Man's Burden
Take Up The Black Man's Load
Take Up The Black Man's Burden
Can You Handle My Soul?

Try Fitting Every Description
Try Dropping Out Of School For Lack Of Funds
Try Joining The Military
Of A Country That Hates Her Sons.

Try Growing Up With No Father
Avoiding The Strains Of The Streets
Try Hearing Your Mother Cry
For Lack Of Money And No Food To Eat.

Try Walking Into A Store
And Know That Everybody Watching You
Try Stepping On The Bus
And Watch The Old White Women’s Face Turn Blue.

Try Fighting For Life Under The Influence
Of Pepper Sprayed Eyes And A Detained Arm
Try Telling That Judge And Those Lawyers
That You Are Innocent, While Remaining Calm.

Try Wearing FUBU Or Rocawear
Sean John And Phat Farm Gear
Try Writing A Rhyme Or A Lyric
Try Preaching God’s Love To A World That Will Never Hear.

You Say What You’d Like About My Brothers
They’re Strong And Steadfast In All That They Do
They May Fit Your Description
But None Of What You Say Is True.

In The Ghetto

Living In The Ghetto, Coming Up Hard Core
Watching And Waiting, My Life Is A Bore
By My 13th Birthday I Had A Gun, Started Robbin & Stealing
AHH NOW MY LIFE HAS BEGUN.

Smoking blunts, Drinking 40's With The Crew
Hanging Out All Night, Tryin To Find Something To Do
Mommy, Daddy's Yelling And Screaming About The Things i Shouldn't Do
But He Shouldn't Be Talking Cuz He Does Them Too.

Had To Burn Somebody Today, Asked Him To Up His Game
He Said It Wasn't His Fault, But He Had No One To Blame
Then He Tried To Dis Me In Front Of His Man
But He Didn't Know I HAD THIS GUN IN MY HAND.

I Lifted My Hand Then Pulled The Trigger
Before He Hit The Ground, He Said:
YOU MUTHER FUCKIN NIGGER.

He Had A Look On His Face When He Hit The Ground
I Just Took His Wallet And Everything I Found
Guess i Did All Right, 150 Bucks In My Hand
Im Going To Get High Tonight And Buy Me Some New Vans.

Someones Yelling Frezze Or Ill Blow Your Head Right Off
I Looked Around, Droped The Gun, The Ground Felt So Soft
Read Me My Rights & Had Cuffed my hands Real Tight
Stayed At The 81st All Night And Found Out The Man Had Died Last Night.

Judge Hit Me With A Body Count, Told Me Life In The Joint Is What I Had
Now Doing Time Behind The Wall, So Alone, So Sad.

I Decided To Kill Or Be Killed To Keep Them From Talking Smack
Had To Cut And Stab To Keep Them Off, I Found A Family Who's Got My Back.

Now Im A Lifer
Jail Is My Home
I Grew Strong In Prison
And Im 26 Years Old.

I Thought My Life Had Just Begun
I Wish I Could Go Back In Time
To Fix All The Mistakes I Made
To Stop Me From Doing That Crime.

Just A Stupid Kid With A Gun In My Hand
Just Threw My Whole Life Away, Not A Man
Just A Number Is What I Am, No Face, No Name
Just A Bunch Of Stupid Numbers

TO SAY WHO AND WHAT I AM

Ghetto Hood Poem

Sit Down Here As I Tell You A Tale,
The Haunting Story Of A Young Boy Waiting To Exhale,
His Life Of Ups And Downs & Twirls And Frightening Desolation,
Of Starkful Dreams & Haunty Scenes And Street Wise Education,
It Didn't Take Him Very Long To Sense The Naked True,
To Smell The Stench Of Ghetto Hood Thats Comming From You.

He Grew Up In A World Of Crack And Beer Canned Coated Srteets,
Where 21 Was Old And Wacked & College Was unique,
No In His World Of Hoochie Girls The Problems Were Immense,
He Hid His Fear And Pain Inside His Eletric Home-Boy Fence.

And Everytime He Ventured Out To Society That Shuned,
He held His Head Up High And Proud,
The Way He Held his Gun,
It Was His Pillar, His Protection, It Gave Him His Respect,
A Sense Of Pride And Dignity That Hadn't Happend Yet.

But In His Mind it Wasn't Lost The undiniable Fact,
That In A Land Of Justice For All He Always Would Be Black,
This Vivid Thuth Held Him Inside His inflicted Prison,
Afraid To Peep Outside His Cave,
Afraid To Share His Vision.

The Talent Of This Lost young Man Sadly Remained Unvield,
His Gifts Hidden in The Sand, His Scars Remained Unhealed,
For Just Like Other Black Man, His Prison Became Real,
And Now He's #3289... With Too Much Time To Kill.
